🛠 Phase 1: The "Tech" Check
Before you even open the assessment, your environment must be "Arise Ready."
No Wi-Fi: You must be plugged into your router via an Ethernet cord. If your internet blips for one second during the test, you may be automatically disqualified.
Quiet Zone: If you are taking the Voice Assessment, background noise (dogs, kids, AC humming) will cause a fail.
The Restart: Restart your computer right before you start to clear out any laggy background apps.
This is a general test of logic, professionalism, and computer skills.
Read Carefully: This isn't a race. Arise often uses "distractor" answers that look right but have one small detail wrong.
Think Like a Pro: When asked "What would you do?" scenarios, always pick the answer that is polite, follows the rules, and solves the customer's problem without being rude.
Computer Basics: Expect questions on how to copy/paste, open new tabs, and basic Windows navigation.
This is an automated "audition" to see how you sound to a customer. You may or may not complete this during your onboarding with Arise, but please review the following to be prepared just in case.
The "Smile" Technique: Even though they can’t see you, smile while you talk. It makes your voice sound warmer and more energetic.
Pacing: Don't talk too fast. Speak at a steady, conversational pace.
Clarity: Enunciate your words. If you have to read a script, don't "mumble-read"—read it like you're actually helping someone.
Wait for the Beep: Make sure the system is actually recording before you start talking.
Once you pick a client (like a cruise line or a retail store), they will test you on:
Typing Speed: Most clients require at least 25–35 WPM. Practice at 10FastFingers.com if you’re rusty.
Brand Alignment: If the client is a "fun" brand (like a cruise line), be upbeat. If it’s a "serious" brand (like taxes or insurance), be professional and precise.
Don't Google Answers: The tests are timed and monitored; if you're switching tabs to search for answers, the system might flag you.
Service Partner ID: Have our Business ID ready! You will need to enter this to link to us after your background check clears but before you can start the client tests. Our Service Partner ID is
The "90-Day" Rule: If you fail a client assessment, you usually have to wait 30–90 days to try for that same client again. Take it seriously the first time!

Once you successfully submit your request to join as a service partner, we will approve it within 24 hours.
When approved, we will send you an email letting you know to log into the portal, and complete your required forms. This is in addition to the forms we send you during your onboarding. These forms are required by Arise to register with their platform, and must be completed as soon as possible after they are available.
